TOPS Students Make 118 Beanies For Christmas
Our Mt. Graham High School Tops club has decided to reach out to our community this year. Using hand looms the students made 77 beanies for the residents of Sunset Nursing Home. They also helped to decorate the facility, wrapped all of the gifts and made Christmas cards to brighten the residents’ days. In addition to the adult ones made for the nursing home, the students also made 41 infant sized beanies that they donated to Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. New mothers were able to select one of the small beanies to take home for their new infants. Earlier this year the students also helped the residents of Sunset Nursing Home celebrate Halloween by face painting and passing out candy. Way to go guys, we are so very proud of the good works you are doing!
